KIT #1: “2-Transistor Ribbon Kit”

HOW CAN I GET IT?

Build the world's most bare-bones electronic music instrument – and a bunch of other things, as well.

We've already described how to make the kit with parts you've picked up yourself. If you'd like to get an “Official” PAiA “2-Transistor Ribbon Kit”, here's how:

REMEMBER THAT YOUR KIT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING

Speaker
Battery
Hook-up wire for speaker and battery
Other parts for the additional experiments

If you need those parts, we have developed ready-to-go kit sets for large groups. There is a discussion of that at the end of this page.

For one kit, send us a SELF-ADDRESSED, STAMPED ENVELOPE and $0.50. We'll put a kit in your SELF ADDRESSED, STAMPED envelope and send it back to you right away! (Domestic U.S. only – see international instructions below). The trick here is that you're doing all the work here by providing a SELF-ADDRESSED, STAMPED ENVELOPE. Wow, that was easy!

If you want three kits, send us $1.00 instead. Be sure to include the SELF-ADDRESSED, STAMPED ENVELOPE. Ouch, my UPPER CASE typing finger is starting to cramp.

FOR INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Send us your SELF-ADDRESSED, STAMPED ENVELOPE and we will send you back three pre-printed cards in your envelope, for free – but no parts! You can only imagine the customs paperwork we avoid by not sending you the parts. If you would like to get a number of kits for your large group, Click this link to go to our product page. EDUCATORS AND OTHER GROUP LEADERS: If you want a lot of kits for your large group, the kits get cheaper, and there are additional options for extra parts you may want to work with.
