PIN REGULATED POWER SUPPLY

This is another "building block" convenience kit, provided for when you need a linear regulator but don't want to wire one up discretely. An LED power indicator is provided. You provide the regulator, we provide everything else (except for the unregulated supply voltage). The kit will accept a user-suppplied standard (TO-220 package) 3 pin voltage regulator from 5 volts (using a 7805) to 24 volts (7824). A large heat-sink is provided. The kit accepts an unregulated AC or DC input voltage (Transformer/Power Pack available separately). The unregulated AC or DC input voltage must be 3V higher than the desired regulated DC output.
