Post dummy load on speaker output
I'm currently testing a Fender bass amp (solid state), and I was wondering if a dummy load using a resistor (8 ohm load) is as reliable in testing as an actual speaker (perhaps one with the cone removed)? Does the fluctuation in the actual speaker provide enough of a difference, versus the resistor?

Thanks

the easiest is with a PowerSoak or similar device.

i just happen to have a pristine unit that I was getting ready for ebay.

asking $70 plus a little for shipping from sacramento.
