So I'm working towards a larger system build, and I'm quite sure I will need at least 2 if not maybe 3 9771-15 power supplies to power all the modules.

Question is: Is there any issue with using multiple 9771-15 modules in a larger system, when patching between the different modules running off different power supplies? I'll have all the external transformers plugged into the same power strip / circuit.

here's a link to the build I'm working on.

As a side note: I updated all the stock Paia module specs and descriptions at Modular Grid.

Oooh Yeahhh...

Looks nice James.

The transformers for the 9771-15 power supplies isolate them from the mains outlet ground, so, "ground"/circuit-common must be established at the DC end of a system with multiple supplies. The join could be at the power supply boards where the "neutral" end of the transformer secondary runs out as "ground", or, by using one TipSleeve (TS) two-wire patch cord between sections of the systems operating on separate supplies, or, just using the usual tip-tip and sleeve-sleeve mini-phone-plug patch cables (TS) throughout the system.

I think I'll just always use TS mono patch cables throughout the entire system. That seems to be the safest and easiest method.

Thanks!
