Hmmm..Theory of Operation doesn't mention R29 or S2.... :|

Try increasing the main charge capacitor: C11....that should make the ramp last for days!!

Why not whip out the ol' soldering iron and just try it? Report back with ur results. Re-read the theory of operation in the manual. What component(s) determines the oscillators frequency? So? U like it s L o w? :-)

Don't think I can help with ur amp p/s. sure, about the multiple transformers, anything is possible given time and expense. Practical? not so much. My thought? Transformer voltages sound stable. Check all capacitors for leakage. Then replace any that are.

Yes, that should work. Input to CVleft goes to inverters IC3d and IC3a. IC3c drives tranny Q2 180deg from Q1. Yes, the ivoltage at test point “B” should be the inverted voltage you’re looking for! It’s already “normalized” into IC3c thru J5, but I would add a buffer before going to a front panel jac...

it's been quite a while since i looked at the 9710 schematic.

i'm thinking that any voltage brought out to the front panel would require a noninverting buffer (NIB). (Input on +, - tied to output)

Let me study sch more. I'll be back......

don't see a "R95"(?)

the resistors in series with attack and decay don't need to be changed if u increase C22.
For increasing both attack and decay, just increase C22.

just add another 1mfd in parallel with C22.

Maybe add a switch to switch-in one or more parallel caps.

hello james, assuming R200 is the "attack" pot u are refferring to (5M) "attack" happens when Q4 is enabled: then current flows thru diode D4, then thru R200, then R207 to charge C22. Increasing R207 will increase "attack" time. R200 is already very large (5M) so, try a resistor 10x larger at R207 (...

ground fault/difference in gnds/modules don;t have same "zerovolt" point.
