Waves in and out of phase

how is it that the @ fatman oscillators dont go out of phase?

it seems to me that changing the frequency of osc 1 and then returning it to be the same as osc 2 should result in out of phase 50% of the time.

am I missing something? (obviously)

fatman sub octave out of phase

recently my fatman has an intermittent problem. -1 suboctave often goes 180 degrees out of phase so if vco 1 and 2 are in tune the suboctave goes silent. -2 suboctave is usually 90 degrees off but sometimes goes to 180. any thoughts? my add on board https://www.flickr.com/photos/29708075@N08/1460553...

power supply on the cheap

I purchased an Altec Lansing computer sub woofer at a buy and sell shop for $0.50. cracked it open and found some goodies. https://www.flickr.com/photos/29708075@N08/15053520120/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/29708075@N08/15239822542/ I saved the transformer and chopped the power supply portion of t...

Modulation Depth - need some advice

my fatman oscillator has FM and PWM cv inputs
filter has FM cv inputs
VCA has AM cv inputs

should the depth adjustment pot be placed on the LFO or on each modulation input?

thanks,

Re: paia 2720 cap replacement

because of tolerance all caps differ slightly - I just needed to find one that had the "right" value.

R8 is valued to work with the transistor but after 20 years it has probably changed its resistance and the transistor has likely changed as well

Re: paia 2720 cap replacement

the power supply is +/- 9v so the p/s caps should be higher than that. I would use 16v or higher. the output caps I would probably use the same. using higher voltage caps than needed will not have any effect on the circuit. they are just bigger (usually) I selected my caps mostly based on the spacin...

Re: re: Fatman Anti-phase-lock modification linearity problem

my non modified oscillators are in tune, its the anti phase lock modified one that is wonky.

are the "standard" oscillators incompatible with the anti phase lock oscillators?
