Re: Fatman Rank select added

"bank"? "rank"?

Seems like it;s more of a "preset" for one of the 555 vco's?

I guess you have a fine tune pot for each of the presets?

I would be nice if these presets were in firmware to allow for calibration.

All in All excellent MODs to the fatman!!

Re: Waves in and out of phase

by "out of phase" I mean that when one oscillators wave is at its peak the others is in a valley. the result is no sound output as the waves cancel each other out. this is randomly happening with my sub oscilators... for the first part... don't see how this is possible with 2 555's that aren't *exa...

Re: PAIA Phlanger - Troubleshooting Tips

Hi Clyde and all PAiApHans!

Have U read this documentation?
here's this link:
http://www.paia.com/talk/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=490

The Phlanger has it's own internal power supply.
Have you checked for the critical voltages at the points the manual recommends?

Re: Wanted: 3740 Gnome assembly guide, wooden end panels

don't see how the switches could be "frozen"(?) maybe try WD40 in one of the switcthes(from the top/side). Let set for a few hours. Then use thumb presssure to push to other side. If push comes to shove, U could probably disassemble a switch and see what's hanging it up. these DPDT switches are larg...

Re: Wanted: 3740 Gnome assembly guide, wooden end panels

a quick google-- 2N5129 pinouts(TO92): http://www.circuitspecialists.com/mps5129.html On page 3 of the Gnome assembly manual, it shows 2N5129 and 2N5139 with a "triangle" pin arrangement. The TO92 version is "inline", with the BASE in the middle. In any case, use a ohm meter to determine the N-P-N a...
