Re: Fatman Repair

Check out this PaiaTalk comment: http://www.paia.com/talk/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=169 It refers to this Scott’s Fatman troubleshooting pdf: http://www.paia.com/talk/download/file.php?id=137 First off, check the 3 regulators. First--Check for proper orientation. There’s a +8 (IC20), a –12 (IC14) and a +5...

Re: Feedback Wanted - New Module Proposal

Hi David, Looks like this is shaping up to be a good PAIA module. “9748”?? I think U will have to find a different number, since the 9748 is already assigned to the new Balanced Modulator, and 9747 is assigned to the new passive Mixer/Splitter. How about the 9749 LevelShifter?? J CLIFF wrote: The wh...

Re: Feedback Wanted - New Module Proposal

You forgot the colon and the 2 backslashes after the "http".

Link works fine when these are added ;)

Re: Feedback Wanted - New Module Proposal

OK darms: I/F = "interface". I was not aware that the minimoog used 0-5V  I always thought that 1V/oct synths were 0-10V CVs like my Prophet5 and MemoryMoog. Guess cause they used CurtisChips(?) As for the 9754 preamp, yes, the panel is kinda full. I do not have a schematic for the 9754, but ...

Re: Feedback Wanted - New Module Proposal

so..... what does "I/F" refer to??? Remember the old 2720-12 Inverter/Buffer? The little switch would change from Zero offset to +5. This would make it an inverter or a non-inverting buffer. Adding GAIN to the buffer would make it a preamp. Your proposal would amount to a "times2" and a "divideby2" ...

Re: PAiA Oz Reissue? Maybe?

Hi oddjo, Do U have the datasheets on К1012ГП1, К1012ГП2, К1012ГП3 ?? If these can be purchased cheaply enough, a "limited edition" of the "OZ II" with a touch keyboard could be a possiblilty. I've designed a small touch keyboard pcb based on the touchswitch article that John S. wrote for the Progra...

9505 thermax links

Hey PAiA Phans, Scott recently uploaded the 9505 Thermax manual. Since the thread is locked, I cannot add any comments there. So, I'm adding them here. Be sure to check out these web sites about Thermins. ESPECIALLY the DIS*PLAYER at: http://www.dogstar.dantimax.dk/theremin/disptech.htm Looks NEET!!...

Re: Paia 9700s and Blacet modules

Chris, I believe most Blacet modules have a FracRack version(?) They might even be ALL FracRack(?) IIRC. Generally, FracRack/Paia9700/Blacet utilize 1/8 jacks whereas MOTMfactor use 1/4in jacks. As far as mixers/splitters: DO U know that PAiA is coming out with a bunch of new 9700 modules?????? INCL...
