Case planning...

Post by PAiA-Scott »

An image of designer Craig Anderton's prototype is shown on the assembly manual cover. It is a project box with the tanks mounted on top and the other parts on the inside.

The tank (2 units) dimensions are 9.25” Length x 3.375” Width x 1.313” Height. The pcb is about three by three inches, and there are a couple of 1/4" inch phone jacks and an LED peak input signal indicator.

9770 Series power supply boards are about three by four inches. Take care when routing the transformer wires into it away from the wiring between the tanks and near the 6740 pcb and keep them at least a few inches away from these sensitive points in the circuit.
