Post TubeHead, Guitar or Line-in
Hello Pieter.

TubeHead works great with guitar as the input, even though it isn't as high impedance as say a guitar amp or effects units. The gain available compensates for any losses and when driving the tube to the point it becomes apparent, the frequency response flattens and then even more drive introduces desirable overdrive harmonics. The two channels can be series connected too, or, switching added to insert the second channel in the path or not. Note too, there are tips in the manual for changing parts for increasing the input impedance and gain to better suit pick-ups, but I like to suggest trying it as is first since the changes can make noise apparent where it wasn't otherwise. Then, it can be put to use in a stereo system set-up or on the input or output of a recorder.

I have attached pdf pages showing some examples of the way the TubeHead can be connected with guitar as input using added external switching.

Thank you.

Sincerely, Scott Lee
