Post 9791 patch cords

I love my Paia 9700s, and it works as it should, but I want to make more patch cords. Getting hold of the 3.5mm jacks is no problem, but the quality of the wire is good and I would like to build patch cords of the same standard. I think it is PTFE coated wire - not sure - and my UK supplier can only do reels costing £488 ($600). Does anyone know where I can get this wire in smaller quantities?

I have to say the patch cords I have purchased from PAiA are much better than any I have made myself. I also use 6' and 10' patch cords made by Hosa Tech. The prices are reasonable and I save time and effort.

It's a true plug-and-play experience!

Hello Ed.

Here's the link to the rubber insulated cable (test prod type) cable (100' (Belden 8890)) we use in the 9791 patch cord kits: ... f7Jg%3d%3d

A benefit to making them using this cable is that you can make two- or three- way cables useful for splitting the Pitch CV or the Gate- or Pulse- triggers out from the MIDI2CV8 to multiple modules.
