Using midi2cv8 as Simmons drum triggers

Post by JetSailor747 »

Hi everybody,
I want to get a midi2cv8 to trigger a vintage Simmons SDS 800 Drum brain.
I was wondering what the particulars of operation would be as the Simmons wants a basic pulse of variable amplitude to trigger it, how would I use the midi2cv8 to achieve this?
Thanks for any advice.

Try MODE 5.

Be sure to do the pin 7 pwr mod to the 4051 chip (U13).

That's all for me....
