power supply on the cheap

Post by Billb3 »

I purchased an Altec Lansing computer sub woofer at a buy and sell shop for $0.50.

cracked it open and found some goodies.

I saved the transformer and chopped the power supply portion of the PCB off.

I also have the power cord and fuse assembly.

I have seen similar parts in other sub woofer sound systems
