9700s crosstalk: something to worry about?

Post by stevebryson »

Hi everyone - I'm building the 9700s kit, and am just about to start on the 9720. My experience with simpler kits (such as the music from outer space weird sound generator) tells me that crosstalk can be an issue. Has anyone experienced crosstalk in the 9700s? It would be a simple thing to use shielded coax wire for the audio signals - this completely eliminated crosstalk in the weird sound generator. Should I bother? I'm building for music production in the long term so I don't mind a little extra effort up front.

Happy Holidays!
