Hi Toneman,

Glad you found this web site interesting. I actually discovered it reading and old issue of Keyboard on experimental music (Jan 1987) in which there was an add for an LP recording of Hugh Lecain compositions and instrument demonstrations. I just Google its name and here it was. Just fell off my chair because I also never heard of him before. I tried to get in touch with them to buy the CD but never got an answer and the address indicated is the same as in this old 18 years old add. I sent the info to Scott who thought it would be interesting material to add on Paia talk.

There is also a reference to Le Caine in the OHM early gurus of electronic music CD-DVD package. :P

For those who can be interested,

There is a CD of Hugh LeCaine works entitled "Compositions Demonstrations 1946-1974" available at $18.00 from the Producer Gayle Young (who also invented 2 acoustical musical instruments) :

Gayle is also the author of a bio on Hugh Le Caine "The Sackbut Blues : Hugh Le Caine, pioneer in electronic music". The hardcover french version of the book is still available from Gayle. the English version being out of print.
