Post FatMan Power Connector
I've done quite a bit of research on this, but no luck finding an answer.

I would like to employ a panel mount power jack to connect the 12 vac 3.5 mm male connector to my FatMan rather than cutting the connector off and soldering the wires to the PCB. Any suggestions about a connector that would work? I see lots labeled DC but none labeled AC. Perhaps they are interchangeable as long as the inside and outside diameters are correct.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

"DC power jacks" conduct AC as well, they're just called DC power jacks rather than the more verbose "AC/DC power jacks" but they are the same thing.

When installed in the Fatman front panel, each of two connectors to the jack should not make electrical contact with the panel. That's easy enough, just use a plastic DC power jack rather than a metal one.

[The jack shown in this picture has a third connector for a switch, which can be ignored for your application.]
