I have been using the paia 9700s and a modified fatman for a few years. Well, not recently, because I moved overseas last year and couldn't take it with me. But! this christmas I will go to the box in my parents attic and reclaim what is mine!
here is the fatman on top of the 9700. It is ugly, but it works perfectly. For some reason, at the time, I thought it was a good idea to mount speakers in there... and there are no labels for the functions. I didn't know what I was doing, and looking back I am amazed that everything worked so well. I also built a second rack of MFOS and CGS modules with a lot more patience and knowledge.
I make electronic-classical music. Here is an album I made that has a lot of sampled Paia in it

I also have an mfb kraftzwerg and a roland sh-101 that I found in a thrift store here in Japan, so I will be in cheapo analog heaven
