Optimal Theremax Amplifier????

What's the best amplifier to use with a theremax? Can it be pumped into the aux port of a receiver? And is there any possibility of destroying the theremax or an amp if there's a mismatch? What What are people using for an amp? Thanks!

A properly operating Theremax shouldn't damage anything with it's output signal, but just to be on the safe side, start with the amp/speaker volume control set low and advance it to a low to medium setting. The usual Theremax Audio Output level setting is in the 12:00 to 3:00 range.
